Introduction of equality: equality is considered an essential requirement for individuals and groups in various communities. - What is the meaning of equality? - What are the underlying principles - What are some of the manifestations of contemporary societies of inequality? 1- concept of equality: Equality is the enjoyment of all political, economic and social rights without discrimination on grounds of religion, color, language, gender or social status. The concept of equality within the principles of human rights worldwide, as well as national, either in the Koran or the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Social equality is a social situation in which the privileges enjoyed by specific groups disappear. A situation in which there is equality of opportunity, where everyone is blessed with natural and cultural situations that meet their needs. Dependently of social equality and content, largely on the existing social order. History has seen, from this point of view, a decrease of primitive communal stage to the stage of slavery. However, the course of history is back and the evolution of moving from the stage of feudalism and socialism. In response to the needs of the Arab region, the Regional Office of Education of UNESCO in Arab countries increased focus on the issue of equality of women and give them all the rights and privileges. The regional office conducts special projects to raise awareness among people and to focus on the importance of achieving equality. Cooperation in this field with the rest of the United Nations and civil society organizations.
